Hi,
I have a primary DB on 10.2.0.3 and physical standby DB on a diff m/c. I have to recover the primary DB to a point in time. What happens to the standby DG server or what do I need to do on standby server so that it continues to work once my primary DB is recovered. Is there a doc out there that outlines the steps ?
Recover is done thru RMAN.
TIA

Ultimately, it's going to depend on what you are recovering from on the primary database.

I would be doing a PITR(point in time recovery) of the whole instance on the primary. My phy standby is setup with Max avail option.
