DBDiff from DKG Dead? [message #355449] Fri, 24 October 2008 02:13

Hello,

First time poster! Hope this is not a silly question.

I am planning to purchase an Oracle utility called DBDiff for doing data and schema level comparison. The software is zippy and the report produced is pretty much what I want. But the problem is the company I tried to be in contact with does not answer emails/phone calls! Is the company dead??

I am wondering whether I should just buy the thing without any support? Or worse, if I purchased the software, there will be no link to download the software since they have gone out of business??

I have been trying to look for another application to do what DBDiff does, none come close in terms of zippiness and ease of use. The one that comes close was DB Tools www.softtreetech.com, but it does not support saving report and the report does not show what data were detected as different.

Can anyone help advise whether they have dealt with DKG (www.dkgas.com) lately as I have tried but received absolutely no response!

Thank you.
