Here we have installed personal oracle 8i on a PC having Win 98 and 64 MB Ram.
The details of the memory used are as follow ( Listing of Show SGA from SQL Plus )
Total SGA : 18881972 Bytes
Fixed Size : 64946 Bytes
Variable Size : 17616896 Bytes
Data Buffer : 1126400 Bytes
Redo Buffers : 73782 Bytes
The problem is that Export is taking too much time. A medium sized table having around 20-30 rows is taking 30 seconds. Any ideas why this is the case
