Hi.
I got a oracle 8.1.5 and a sqlserver 6.5.
I would like to from Oracle sqlplus or "something/someway" retrieve reports from data in a sqlserver.
So what i am asking is how to do that!

Can i get the data in real time? Directly from sqlserver in a question AND maybe join with Oracle tables?

Do i need to on sqlserver create ascii files and then ftp these to Oracle and then sqlloader/utlfile?

Snapshots somehow?

Examples or something.

Both servers is on the same LAN.

Any who have done this before? I am sure!

Regards
/Anders
