I was installing Oracle 8 Personal Edition (using the Y2K compliant installer, of course) when I received the message:

Hello everyone,
has anyone got the solution to this problem?? I'm stuck with this problem too, when installing Orecle 8 Personal Edition . The full error message is :

rdbms80.vrf(855): Unbound variable 'install-type'
