You might check your local listner.ora file. Make sure the MP2 sid entry exists. Ex.
(SID_DESC =
(SID_NAME = MP2)
)
btw, what version of mp2 are you using?

I'm officially using MP2 5.1, but am loading 6.0 on an offline workstation for validation. I work for a Pharmaceutical company, so even our maintenance software has to be validated before it can be officially used. I finally got everything up and running. I had an obvious mistake in my Listener.ora that I was blind to until I was away from if for a day, then I saw it immediatly.
Do you have experience with Datastream?

Hello:

I need shell script(Korn), which starts multiple
listener process.
One listener has SID1 and other process has SID2.
Could you send me a script which automatically starts both the listeners listed in the listener.ora file listed for 2 different SID's.

Thanks
Arvind
