Hi,
I am trying to create an Oracle (8.1.6) database using the Configuration assistant. It took more than 2 hours and used up about 220M of memory and was still going on when i killed the Oracle process. Is this normal or is there something going wrong? I have created databases on 7.3.4 and 8.0.5 and i have not experienced this slow behavior.
Please clarify.
Thank you.
