Hi Vince,
Thanks for the mail. Yes, I am using the daemon package to pack the emailaddr and msg into the pipe using dbms_pipe. The pro*c source code retrieves the info from the pipe and uses the unix terminal command 'sendmail' to send the mail to the email id. How did you do it?
I am not sure how to configure the unix mail pgm to recognise the mail server from where the user emails are fetched from into outlook.
Can you help on this?
