You need to create users, attach them to groups and then grant some virtual realms to them in the server authentication page. This is for basic
authentication.
In the virtual path manager you need to insert a line as to which catridge ( i.e.virtual path \agent_name\plsql\) and the realm that you want to assign has
to be mentioned.
If you restart the Web Application Server, It starts prompting you for the user and password.
This security is enforced by the OAS and not the database. Hence these users are not database users.
If you want it to check with the database users then uncheck the Store username and password option while creating the DAD.
