I am not sure if this is the proper forum for this, mods feel free to move if you feel appropriate.

I am doing some testing in a recently upgraded instance of our database (10.2.0.4). We are also running E-Business Suite v11.5.10.2. I accidently overwrote the upgraded PL/SQL specificiation file for a particular package (PA_OTC_API) so I now have a mismatch of versions between the spec and the body. In general, does anyone have any suggestions of how to best recover the upgraded specification file?

edit - I should clarify, I compiled the wrong specification file and saved it in the database, causing the overwrite of the upgraded spec file.

Thank you,
Steve

Simply retrieve it from your source code control system.

Hi JD,

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, the control systems have not been updated yet. This instance is our patch environment and thus is the only system at the version levels indicated in my initial post. My apologies for the confusion.

Regards,
Steve

In this case your solution is to restore the database in another place to get the package definition.
