Good resources or books for working with XMLType data?

I'm starting work on an Oracle 11g database that uses tables with XMLType columns to hold xml formatted data. I'm new to working with the Oracle xml functions to query and work with the data and was wondering if anyone know of any good online tutorials or books that a beginner can use showing a start to finish to understand this stuff better.

I'm looking through Oracle documentation now but it's a little daunting.
