Hi all,
When I try logging into RMAN with a new CMD shell, I get the following message:
C:\>rman

Message file RMAN<lang>.msb not found

Verify that ORACLE_HOME is set properly

After I do the following:
C:\>set oracle_home=D:\oracle\ora10.2.0

C:\>set oracle_sid = emrdev

It works.
I do not know where to put that info in. I remember years back, having to put that into autoexec.bat

Any Ideas where I can place those settings today on Win2003?

Why don't you put it in the CMD file?

Michel,
That is an option.
I am setting up a dev environment for RMAN and flash recovery, test and production do not behave like this as in the case of a problem the prod last week that had to be manually fixed, did not have to set those. They must go in a config file somewhere.
