1) how to to compare sybase table data with oracle database table data?

2) how to connecr sybase database from oracle database?

1) Use gateway or ODBC or unload the data into files and use "diff"
2) Use gateway and heterogeneous service

yes..ODBC means open database connectivity. i don't know how to connect sybase database from oracle database. i able to view data in excel using odbc. please explain how to connect sybase database from oracle database using ODBC?

You can't and I didn't answer you can use ODBC to do it.
See my answer, I said you can compare the data between 2 tables using ODBC (whatever is the db they reside) but I didn't say it is from Oracle or from Sybase, it is from outside both, using Excel for instance.
