Hi All,

I'm about to configure Oracle Streams with the Source database 10.2.0.4 & target 11.2.0.1. has anyone done this before?
If yes, can I get any useful documentation on this configuration, please, especially with performance on the source database (which in my case will be a Production database).

Thanks in advance...

But why dont you upgrade 10.2.0.4 to 11.2.0.1 before stream configuration.

Don't wanna disturb a steady running Prod env't right now. This can open up room for more errors.

I dont think You can do that because 11g streaming has lot of new features in it.But please go through the stream document to make sure of this.

I submitted a tar on this with Oracle Support & was told it's feasible; I'll definitely try it, but am wondering if there's anyone out there who've done it before, so I can gain from his experience.

Good that you got confirmation from Oracle about Streams set up between 10g and 11g.

How did your POC go?

Any gotchas that you would like to share?
