When I try to edit my own sticky, I've noticed it.
Some abuse words are automatically showing up when we edit a sticky with multiple asterisks.

I tested with the following

Please crosscheck and fix it.

It looks like the "abuse words" are visible during editing, but are replaced with asterisks when you preview or save. I believe this is the expected behavior. These words would only be visible to the original poster or moderators who have the privilege to edit other people's posts. I believe the masking with asterisks is just a masking, not a replacing.

This is actually the opposite that happens.
You write a line of astorisks and when you edit you get those words.
I tried it in a reply to Vamsi's test topic.

Regards
Michel

[Edit: even the asterisks in the title are changed]

testing that theory:

Yikes! You're right! I can just imagine the surprise that somebody might get if they used a line of asterisks to separate something, then edited it.
