Welcome to the forum. Please read our OraFAQ Forum Guide and How to use [code] tags and make your code easier to read

Has this ever worked? At first sight, it looks though you have not created the standby correctly. Did you follow the procedures described in the Data Guard Admin Guide?

Well, I would think that the best approach would be to flashback the standby to before the problem occurred, make sure that all necessary archivelogs are available in the correct places on the primary, and startup redo transport and apply. The gap resolution mechanism should allow the standby to recover.
Of course, if someone did something silly (copying files manually, perhaps?) then you might have to re-create the standby. Good luck.

Er.... you are paid to do this, I'm not.

You say that you created the standby successfully before, so create it again. I always do it with RMAN, as described in the docs. You do not need any downtime on the primary.
