Hi,

Is there a way to restart emctl agent12 ? if yes, could you provide me the steps/command ?

What does the documentation say?
By the way, it is the same command than in your previous OEM topic.

Not lazy and all.. not sure which steps to follow, so what clarifying with you.

you mean... emctl stop agent and then emctl start agent - is this the way we can restart emctl agent ?
or you mean something else like emctl reload agent ??

Can you clarify my doubts since i want to do it in Production DB.

The following are valid options for blackouts

EM is NOT required to exist or operate & has NO direct impact on any Oracle DB.

Jack, you seem to have missed the point, as you did in your previous topic. I'll try again. There will usually be several copies of the emctl utility, each in a different home, each with different syntax and capabilities. BS has shown the emctl in the database home: it is used to control the dbconsole. Connect to the OMS home, and you will have access to an emctl that can manage the OMS. Connect to the agent home, and you have the emctl used to manage the agent. I hope I have managed to help this time.
