Hi,

On my Targets Page in OEM, i can see that some of my Management Agents are unreachable. When i try to check the status it gives a timeout error as below;

# emctl status agent
Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control 12.1.0.1.0
Copyright (c) 1996, 2012 Oracle Corporation.  All rights reserved.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Status agent Failure: Timed out after 300 seconds


Also tried Stop/Start of the agent to no avail;

[oracle@lxx0485:/prd/dvp/ora/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/Middleware/agent/core/12.1.0.1.0/agent_inst/bin]# emctl stop agent
Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Cloud Control 12.1.0.1.0
Copyright (c) 1996, 2012 Oracle Corporation.  All rights reserved.
[oracle@lxx0485:/prd/dvp/ora/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/Middleware/agent/core/12.1.0.1.0/agent_inst/bin]# emctl start agent

Agent status could not be determined.  Check the agent process



Could you please tell me what are the troubleshooting steps that i can try?

logs show below error;

root cause & fix are external to Oracle
Oracle is the victim; not the culprit.

Metalink says it is a Bug.
