When I try to run sqlplus for the first time I get these error messages.
I use sqlplus system/manager command and it returns
ERROR:
ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist
SVR4 Error: 2: No such file or directory

I have double checked the ipc entries in the /etc/system file.

This is a brand new install and this is my first time.
Please help.
Thank you
