hi,
I try to connect to my oracle database on windows2000,but it gave a error :no listener.I check the services from control panel/services ,i found the listener was there running.
what's the matter?

got control panel and try
lsnrctl status
lsnrctl start

tks.
I checked listener.ora and tnsnames.ora ,i found the item "host" doesn't match the ip of my computer,I changed the "host" item ,now it's ok.maybe someone have changed the ip of my computer.

check that your w2k box is not using DHCP. If it is, then your IP address may change from startup to startup!
