the situation is : there is a server with 3 instances running on it-OS being Win2000.to create a job on oem for any database, i create an user at os level giving it 'log on as batch job' privelage and create the same user (&password)for oracle. then i give taht user name and password as 'preffered credential' for that instance in oem.it works for one instance but it doesnot for another one. the databases doesnot open with that user (though one instanse does). it says not sufficient privelage(ora-01031). when i try with granting privelages to that user of sysdba through SQL*, still it gives the same error for that user.

if any of can help me , please do. i need the response as soon as possible .thanks.

pls check the osm.nohup or oms.log
and post the exact errors.
look for any VNI or VTK errors?
