I am trying to use the imp/exp function from the Orale Manager Server (OMS) gui.I am using the sysman account to log in and I am using the sys as sysdba to do the imp/exp. However I am still not successfull. I am getting a job fail status. any ideas about what to do?

did you set the preferred privs??
and
look into oms.nohup /oms.log for more specifice errors and paste them exactly.
wats OS , oracel and oms and OEM versions

Mahesh,

Yes, the prefered credential are set to the sys privileges. I am on Win2000, using oracle 9i version 2.
Where is the oms.log located?
