Server system is loaded with Oracle 8i & another machine(client) is loaded with Oracle 7.3 Both these systems are not in Lan or in network. I want the server system with Oracle 8i to be changed to Oracle 7.3 without loss of data.

Use Oracle 7 Export Utility to to export the data of oracle 8 database. and use Import utility of oracle 7 to import the data into oralce 7.
If Y dont like EXP/IMP
Use copy command from oracle 7 database .But it is time consuming process.
