Hi all,
Each time I create the database MIS(even on different servers)on Windows 2000 Adv. Server Oracle 9.0.1 , I get the domain name as MIS. Although in parameter file domain_name=''.
I have read that Global database convention is as :
db_name.domain. So I have also given Global db name as MIS through DBCA.
Even I export the database it can be done by both exp mis/pasword@mis or mis/password.
I want to know that is there any method which grants either domain or completely not!!
