Hi everybody.

I'm working with ORACLE 8i

This is the first time I try to build a data base and I donīt know how to launch the management server. When I try to build the database it appears the message "VTK-100 Unable to conect the managemente server..."

How can I create the management server?

and

Can you tell me the steps I have to follow to build my database with oracle. I will access it later from asp.net

Thank You

Hi,

Use the Enterprise Manager Configuration Assistant (EMCA). It will ask you if it should create a new repository (database) or use an existing one.

Also, read the OEM FAQ at http://www.orafaq.com/faqoem.htm

Best regards.
