After selecting the required components in the software asset manager. The following error message appears & after accepting the error. it stops the installation procedure.

I received this same error (with a different code in the brackets) when I attempted to install Oracle 6i Patchset 11 after uninstalling Oracle 6i Patchset 13.

In order to correct the problem I had to re-format my computer and start fresh.

You know - I just got my computer back reformatted with Windows 2000, and I still get the same error.

rsf73.vrf(281): Unbound variable 'deinstl'

Install Oracle 9i Client 9.0.1.1.1
This is from a 3 CD set labelled
"Oracle 9i
Release 1 (9.0.1)
for Microsoft Windows NT/2000
(CD 1 of 3)

ORACLE
(c) Oracle Corporation 2001
Part #: A91199-01"

Choose Custom install
Select Runtime (486mb)
At the end you will get the "Oracle Net Configuration Assistant"
You can click CANCEL and get out entirely.

Your Oracle Forms/Reports installation should now work properly.
