Hi,

I am trying to figure out what happened to the IA SNMP feature where you could use the IA as an SNMP agent.  It's in 8i and 9i, but in 10g, I can't seem to understand if it was removed.  I see the Grid Control Management Agent, but there is no documentation stating how to query the agent with SNMP.

Can anyone shed some light on this.

Thanks

Hi,

Not sure how it will work in 10g, however, this might help:

Oracle 10g Enterprise Manager Advanced Configuration Guide
Chapter 9 "Configuring Notifications"

Best regards.

I am aware of the notifications, but was more interested in how to query the agent using GETs. I thought this feature was available in previous releases using the Intelligent Agent.

Any ideas how this works in 10g?

Thanks in advance.
