Hi All,

I have tablespace (oracle 8.0.5 version) contain my data. I want to read that data using oracle 8.1.7 (since i dont have the 8.0.5 version) But it seems this oracle ver 8.1.7 cannot read the tablespace.

Can someone help me with this ?? Please suggest me what i should do ??

I have not tried this before but usually Oracle is upward compatible. You may not be able to read 8.0.5 with 8i binaries. You may however be able to read 8i from 8.0.5 using the 8.0.5 binaries.
