Hi,
Does anybody know why ktfbbsearch-7 error occurs when processing with big databases?
we have a database with about 25 million of records. When we want to process these records,the system gives this error... Help...

I beleive,
The error occurs when trying to create a locally managed
tablespace (default for 9i) with a large extent size.
try changing extent management method to dictionary.
And also becuase of highly fragemented files ( for old , large databases).
Oracle is unable to find contiguous disk space to create
the extent due to fragmentation.
The workaround is to create tablespace with locally management,
but specifying 'UNIFORM <>' instead of using the
default 'AUTOALLOCATE'.
