Hi a have to migrate a application from MVS-DB2 to
an oracle-unix system.
Many tables have packed-decimal (cobol COMP-3) columns.
I would like to know the best way to transfer these fields form DB2 to Oracle; is better
transfer data using FTP in binary mode o text mode and
then load data with SQL*LOADER in fix format o free format ?
