i am now investigating other fields in the db that i could use to store big text files. i have written a simple content management apps for our corporate intranet but i am having a problem in uploading big text files as the db only limits the uploader/updater of the site to just 8,000 characters per page.

any suggestion that will lead in solving this problem?

thanks

Can you spit the page into multiple 8000 char chunks and save them as separate records, then combine them when you need to?
