Can u please guide me how to send an oracle report output to excel. I am using Oracle 8 and Rep 3.0

hai, try this,
in main section property pallete, there is distribution option, click that and give the file type.it will generate the XLS file.

u can generate csv file through in build text_io package. create a button in report and write script to generate csv file using text_io package. It will definetly help u.
