Hi,
We r using websphere with Oracle 9i.
Connection pooling feature is enabled in Websphere
connection is established using Oracle's JDBC Drivers.

The problem is when we do any database manipulation using Oracle stored procedure it gives and error as subtransaction not allowed,The above error comes only when using EJB.

where as the same code works with Oracle 8.1.7.
(WE hv downlaoded the latest jdbc drivers from Oracle technet).

Are there any addiional grants to be given in Oracle for Websphere or any other specific tunning required.?

Can anyone throw some light on this , or gv some specfic links to oracle with websphere.

Thanks a Lot in Advance

Dear Sulinder,

Can you tell me how you setup your ORACLE datasource in WebSphere?

What did you specify under:
1. URL Prefix - for ORACLE driver definition
2. JNDI name
3. Database name

Thanks!
