Hi,
I´m writting from Spain. Sorry about my english.
I have developed an application (C++) with Oracle Pro*C 8.1.7, and a lot of times I receive a connection error ("ORA-03113 : end-of-file on communication channel"), but after a non reasonable period of time. So I would like to configure a timeout on operations with the DB.
Do you know if it is possible to configure this timeout on Oracle...or do I have to manage necessarily this timeout on my application (with signals and non-local jumps, or other way)?.
