Hi,

I have been asked to enable connectivity between discoverer and SQL Server objects while maitaining access to Oracle objects.

Discoverer allows connection to SQL Server simply by creating the appropriate ODBC connection (for example "TESTDB" ) and then using the following connect string :

ODBC:TESTDB

You'll have to connect to each SQL Server instance to create the EUL before connecting any users.

In my case I plan to create views of SQL tables using Oracle SQL Server gateway and then granting access to the views within Discoverer.

I hope this helps
Cheers
Nick
