I have a windows client and I want to query a oracle database that runs in unix. What I need to do this?, ODBC connectivity is enough?

depends on what tool you are going to use to query.
for MS-Access u need ODBC.
for sql*plus (oracle native tool) you need to edit the
tnsnames.ora in the client installation and set up connect_strings.
easiest way to use a Net8easyconfig assistent, which does the same using GUI.
