Ive checked out the network services and im a bit confused,

Where do I find the list of users that are logged on, and their IP and TCP addresses. Is it under the listener.ora file? If so how do i extract just this information, i mean how can i extract information that i want, not the whole file commands but what i want..

can some on summarise the sequence of steps for a client with a particular IP address to connect to a server?

Thankyou

Use v$session view for querying currently connected users and their IP addresses.
