We are considering rolling out OEM to other groups besides the DBA group but, we would like to customize the menu before doing so.
Ex1. allow the help desk access to OEM to change user passwords,
but we would like to remove all menu items except the
security/user tab under databases.
EX2. allow some areas access to the change management pack but
not the tuning pack or configuration tab.
I have found you can remove some menu items by commenting out lines in the oracle_home/sysman/config/OEMClient.properties file. However this is hit and miss in regards to which line removes which item from the menu.
Does anyone know of a document or white paper that would provide more information about customizing the OEM menus.
