Hi,

I get the connectivity to the server with the sqlprompt, but if i tnsping using the service name i get the following error. Plz any body help to uderstand why is this?

Hi Anil,

Perhaps an obvious question, but did you start the listener on the server? (Try: "lsnrctl status" to check).
