Hi,

my oracle problem seems very strange and I hope somebody can help me.

I have an ASP.NET web application which gets data from an oracle 9 Server and which worked well until last week.

Now the OracleOraHome90TNSListener in local services seems to have a problem. When trying to connect to the server, for the first time it works. When trying to connect the second time to the server is doesn't work, because the OracleOraHome90TNSListener service stoppe. So I have to restart the service, but unfortunately it stopps again after one connection and the following error occurs:
ORA-12535: TNS: Timeout für Vorgang

Server: Windows 2003

Hofe for help!
Tia,
Evelyn

Any errors in you listener.log file?
If not, consider enabling listener tracking.

Hmm...I think I have a solution.
The Anti-Virus Software disabled the service all the time.
So it's not the best to auto-update anti-virus software Wink

Thanks for helping!
