Guys,
My requirement is below:
We've an application which resides in about 50+user's desktops.
The backend of the application is with MS access database(residing in each user's desktop). The MS access database tables needs to get updated from an Oracle database table every night.
So we've decided to use the Heterogeneous Services of Oracle for our requirement; We would create a database link pointing to each of the user's MS access database and exectue a stored procedure which moves the data from Oracle table to MS access table using the database link.

I've followed the steps in the link below for heterogenous connectivity settings.
http://www.datadirect.com/developer/odbc/oracle_heterogeneous/index.ssp

Now,We want the settings to be done for Oracle heterogenous connectivity to be fully automated.ie.All the above steps has to happen automatically the moment the user launches our application for the first time.
Can someone help me with ideas about how it could be automated?

Thanks,
Benita Sheeba.
